On the 8th of August, a football match between Russian «Spartak» and Greek «PAOK» took place in Thessaloniki. Russian reporter Jaroslav Kulemin wrote in his Twitter that during the match Greek fans tried to attack Russian journalists.

“Whistling in the tribune is not really a big problem. However, PAOK fans tried to break into the press box to Russian journalists»
A little bit later, Kulemin also added that the Greek police had warned journalists before the match not to celebrate the goals of their team.

However, PAOK denies its guilt in every possible way. In his official Twitter has also appeared a record about the incident. According to representatives of the club, the reason of the conflict was one of the Russian fans, who showed an indecent gesture, passing by the tribune of the Greek fans. The club itself described the whole situation as an «unpleasant incident».

It is worth noting that that is not the first incident with PAOK football club in the last six months. Earlier, on the 5th of March, the club’s fans broke into the Studio of the state TV channel ERT3 in Thessaloniki. The reason for such an extreme behavior was a technical defeat, which the team received in the match against Olympiakos.
