The assistant of the referee Frederic Cluver suffered a head injury during match of the European League between Cypriot AEK and the Austrian Storm.

The judge was wounded by one of the fans, scene, but he was caught. After a short meeting, the representatives of UEFA decided not to stop the game, and Cluver was replaced by the fourth referee after an emergency medical aid.

As a punishment, the Austrian “Storm” may be without fan support in the next game. Representatives of the club noted that at this moment the consider different options of punishment for the guilty fan.

The match ended with the score 2:0 in favor of the AEK.
