Midfielder of “Arsenal” Mesut Özil refused to meet with the head coach of the German national team Joachim Löw – reports Bild.

The coach of the national team flew to London to have a personal meeting with the midfielder, but received a refusal. The decision of the player supported the head coach of Arsenal Unai Emery. Instead of Özil, Löw talked to Per Mertesacker, Bernd Leno and Shkodran Mustafi.

Ozil played in the German national team from 2009 to 2018. As a part of the team, he won the World Cup 2014. After the World Cup 2018 in Russia, he said that he finished his career in the national team. According to his words, he faced racism in the ream because of his Turkish origin.
