According to El Confidencial, the president of Real Madrid Florentino Perez considers the famous Spanish tennis player and great fan of Real Rafael Nadal as his potential successor.
“Nadal is a great choice for the presidency of Real Madrid. He is one of the best ambassadors of our club in the world” – quoted Peres El Models.
However, It is noted that the athlete will be able to assume the post of president of the club first only in 2031, when he turns 45 years old. To be nominated for the post of head of Real Madrid, the applicant must be a member of the club for 20 years. Nadal became the honorary member of the club in 2011.
